Description

This Sloppy Joe Garlic Bread is a delicious twist on a classic comfort food. It combines the savory flavors of sloppy joes with the crispy goodness of garlic bread for a satisfying meal that everyone will love.


Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1 small onion, diced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup ketchup

– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tbsp brown sugar

– 1 tsp mustard

– Salt and pepper, to taste

– 4 slices of garlic bread

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent.

3. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

5. Place the slices of garlic bread on a baking sheet.

6. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture over each slice of garlic bread.

7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.


Notes

– You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
