Description
These Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers are juicy, flavorful, and packed with Mediterranean goodness. Fresh spinach keeps them tender, feta adds tangy richness, and they cook fast—perfect for a quick, satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for the pan)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, gently mix together the ground turkey, chopped spinach, feta, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined (don’t overmix).
2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about 1/2-inch thick. Press a small dent into the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
3. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
4. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
5. Rest the burgers for 2–3 minutes before serving to keep them juicy. Serve on buns, in pita, or as a lettuce wrap with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Optional for serving: burger buns or pita, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and tzatziki.
For grilling: oil the grates and cook over medium-high heat, flipping carefully.
